2.0 User Eligibility & Account Responsibilities
Users must be at least eighteen years of age or have attained the age of majority in their jurisdiction. Account credentials must remain confidential; users are strictly responsible for all activities under their account.
3.0 Permitted Use & Code of Conduct
Reason Orbit is designed exclusively for educational, research, and technical collaboration. Prohibited conduct includes automated scraping, distribution of malicious payloads, harassment, and intentional upload of infringing materials.
4.0 User-Generated Content & Digital Document Sharing
Users retain ownership of documents they upload while granting Reason Orbit a non-exclusive license to host, format, and index content for peer study. Uploaders represent and warrant that they possess all necessary copyrights or open-access authorizations.
5.0 Copyright Policy & DMCA Safe Harbor Procedures
Reason Orbit functions as an intermediary under Section 79 of the IT Act and the US DMCA (17 U.S.C. 512). Valid takedown notices submitted to support@reasonorbit.com are processed expeditiously, removing access within statutory windows.
6.0 Repeat Infringer Policy
Accounts subject to multiple confirmed copyright infringement notices will be permanently terminated, and upload privileges revoked, with persistent hardware and network fingerprinting to prevent circumvention.
7.0 Intermediary Due Diligence & Disclaimers
Services are provided on an as-is and as-available basis. Platform liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
